Tunisian-Algerian intelligence cooperation leads to catch man in relation with ISIS

A court in Setif Sunday sentenced a 37-year-old man to two years in prison for praising ISIS.

The accused man was arrested in Setif following intelligence information exchanged by Tunisian and Algerians security forces.

After being arrested, an ISIS-related map and a list of names were found in his car.

The list includes names of Algerians living abroad and Europeans. He obliged them to pay money to achieve a mysterious project. He alleged that the project is the construction of a mosque in Lyon in France.

The accused man who is an Algerian born in France had a telegram application on his phone to communicate with ISIS’ activists. He watched their criminal acts in live via their news agency in Iraq.
