“Algerian Mahrez” impresses participants in Football for Friendship event

MCA’s player Abderezzak Hahad who is nicknamed “Algeria’s Mahrez” came back home after representing his country in the international championship Football for Friendship.

The sports event was held between June 26th and July 3rd in Strasbourg under the sponsorship of Russia’s Gazprom. Players from 64 countries including Algeria took part. Teams were composed of eight male and female players including people with special needs. They are aged between 12 and 14. 

Algerian player Hahad was nicknamed by his Russian coach “Algeria’s Mahrez” in view of his smartness and great capacities.

Football for Friendship enabled children from all over the world to know each other. 

Organizers were very satisfied and considered the event as the most successful sessions.

The International Day of Football and Friendship will be celebrated in Strasbourg with the participation of thousands of children and adults. Each participants will put on a “Friendship Bracelet” of blue and green lines. They symbolize equality and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. Organizers will also organized a day to allow participants to visit Strasbourg.

Algerian child Khalil Ibrahim also took part in the international annual conference for children. Young players from all over the world discussed with media representatives and famous players about commitment to values in the world.
