Algeria’s MSP movement Sunday called on the Algerian public opinion to show more actions toward the case of Burma’s Muslims.

Algeria’s MSP movement Sunday called on the Algerian public opinion to show more actions toward the case of Burma’s Muslims.

The movement said in a release, “charity associations should speed up relief campaigns to reduce the suffering of refugees in Bangladesh.”

“The Algerian foreign ministry’s role concerning Rohingya Muslims is still weak. It should take a more efficient diplomatic action,” said the release.

It added that the MSP movement watched with anger news and images of Rohingya Muslims’ conditions in Arakan. “Burma’s government has killed, tortured and burnt tens of thousands of people since August. Hundreds of thousands of residents fled their homes to Bangladesh.”

The movement denounced the “horrible crimes against Burma’s Muslims. What happens is religious racism and crimes against humanity. Criminals should be stopped away from double standards policy.”

It called on the UN Security Council to intervene and protect the minority’s rights.

It also called on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to support those “weak Muslims politically and diplomatically.”

“We urge wise people in the world to show solidarity with Rohingya Muslims and human rights.”

The MSP movement said it sent letters to the UN Secretary General and the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. It explained the case to them and urged them to intervene to end the suffering of Rohingya Muslims.
