Algerian PM grants governors large powers on private property
Algerian PM Ahmed Ouyahia
Algerian PM Ahmed Ouyahia gave green light and large powers to governors to apply executive decrees giving them right to properties expropriation from their owners and to transfer them to state property for public use.
This decision will allow the acceleration of delivery pace of projects installation, which had known a big blockage during the past months. It came after many companies had faced problems with landlords who were against the projects. Because of that, disputes over property were introduced into courts, which made things more disrupted. The new governmental decree will allow the establishment of large missions for governors to retrieve these estates and compensate their owners according to law.times read : 1795
