Algerian coasts less polluted

Algerian costs are less polluted say participants in an international symposium on environment held in Algiers.
- “Compared to other Mediterranean coastal cities Algerian coasts are less polluted” asserted Rabeh Bakour, Director of the National Institute of Sea Sciences.
- The symposium discussed environmental risks and dangers in the Mediterranean area. The participants presented their assessment of the situation in the coastal cities.
- Even though risks are not big in Algerian coasts, there is a need to protect environment and the sea side in Algerian cities from human and natural dangers, added Bakour
