Housing: Decisions to take advantage of AADL, promotional apartments to be applied before the end of 2015

Subscribers for AADL, public promotional and LPP housing programs will benefit from decisions to take advantage of apartments, and to identify the sites of this program before the end of 2015, Housing and Urbanism Minister, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, said on Monday, during an inspection visit to the sector’s projects in the new city of Sidi Abdellah, western Algiers.
“Subscribers in AADL and LPP programs will benefit from decisions to take advantage of the apartments before the end of the current year. State is fully committed to deliver AADL houses and meet its obligations to all subscribers by the end of this year. Housing Ministry is the only body that is authorized to provide the correct numbers.”
“New city in each of Sidi Abdallah and Bouïnane will hold more than 70,00 people, as a first stage, and 90% will be allocated to them in favor of subscribers. New cities will be one of the developed cities that have been completed since independence.”
For his part, Public Works Minister, Abdlkader Kadi, who accompanied Tabboune, said that new cities will notice an expansion of its share of cars’ hangars, in order to avoid the current overcrowding of cities.”
Water Resources Minister, Houssine Nassib, said that the new cities will not notice a water crisis at all.
“Real estate problem was resolved in the majority of Wilayas, and the problem is relatively posed only in the capital only, where a lot of coordination with the governor is conducted. Most of the properties that are recovered from demolition of tin and anarchist houses, have been delivered in favor of the ministerial constituencies.”
