A Criminal Gang Sells European Residency, Identity Cards For 3000 Euros

Last weekend, the public intelligence and judicial police of Ahmed Ben Bella-Oran airport succeeded in overthrowing an international gang that is specialized in counterfeiting and fraudulent use of official documents, which for several months formed a parallel administration that is working on forging residence papers and national identification cards for European countries, including Spain, Belgium, France and Canada.

It includes several members of different nationalities, including Algeria, as the case began about two months after the success of one of the investigators to penetrate the network after being approached by a suspect in order to obtain an official document.

The purpose was to lure some members of the gang with the intention of collusion, to make the trap, especially that these documents are characterized by high quality, as it is difficult to distinguish between them and the original documents.

After the elements of the platoon confirmed the arrival of the members of the gang to the airport of Ahmed Ben Bella in Oran (western Algeria), coming from the capital, as was agreed upon and planned for, the agent of the Republic of Senia in Oran, and a plan was developed to arrest two elements who are involved in the crime at the level of the international airport.

According to Echorouk sources, it is about two individuals between the ages of 30 and 40 from the state of Blida and Algiers, and after the investigation of those involved, it turned out that most members of this organization are from different nationalities, Tunisian, Italian and French, and the State of Tunisia is considered the junction of this gang and there are planning and collection of files, and requests for forgery, after obtaining a physical release by citizens, and the illusion that it is the best way to obtain official documents such as visas, passports and other documents, with high quality, for 3000 euros in order to obtain a residence permit for a foreign country or identification card, and it is strange that the two elements have never left Algeria.

Security services seized more than 50 national ID cards and foreign residency documents for European countries that were prepared for some young people and the files and pictures of some young people who wish to receive them.

Investigations after the extension of jurisdiction are still continuing in order to oust the remaining partners who are residing in some other states.
