Prime Minister, Abdelaziz Djerad, announced on Friday, the creation of all conditions for the success of the latest evacuations of Algerian nationals stranded in Turkey.
In a statement to the third national radio channel, Djerrad said, “The evacuation will begin this evening, Friday, and it will extend through several flights on board the Air Algerie and its Turkish counterpart, to be completed tomorrow, Saturday.”
Concurrently, Djerad renewed the call of the citizens to respect the procedures of domestic quarantine, until the spread of the virus is curbed, and the health crisis that has killed 83 people and wounded 986 others is ended.
“Algeria authorities have used several hotels in the capital Algiers to receive those concerned”, adding that if necessary, hotels will be used in Oran (western Algeria) as well. Similar to Les Andalouses hotel.
“Evacuees would stay 15 days in a precautionary quarantine due to the Coronavirus spread”.
