Criminal Court of Dar El Bida in Algiers opened a file of a cell that recruits fighters and smuggle young Africans to terrorist strongholds in Libya.

The details of the file, according to what appeared in the Monday session, began from extensive investigations that were initiated by the security services, regarding a suspicious activity of a dangerous cell of human trafficking, and they resulted in the arrest of three Moroccan nationals in May 2016 in the state of Ouargla, Southern Algeria, where they managed to join ISIS strongholds in Libya, and after subjected to a security investigation, they revealing the gang’s plan to deport them from their country, after changing their destination, which was towards the “old continent” (Europe) through Algiers International Airport and then pass by land to the south to the Libyan border mediated by a person who received the migrants after arrival at the airport to transport them to Algiers Carroubier bus station, and send another person to accompany them to the city of Ouargla, and then to the area of ​​”Ain Omnas” until they arrive to Libya, for the cost of 2000 and 3000 euros.
Continued investigations found that the accompanying person was able to deport 17 people in the same way, as the latter was arrested with Moroccan nationals and all of them were transferred to trial, while the rest of the cell members remain in escape and were charged with the attempt to join a terrorist group that is active abroad.
