Algerian MP for the community in the fourth region Europe except France and the Americas, Noureddine Belmeddah complained of the bureaucracy and obstacles that the Embassy of Algeria in Madrid is exercising against the Algerian immigrants in Spain, in the case of replacing the Algerian driver’s license with the Spanish.
In a letter that was addressed to Algeria’s embassy to Madrid, which copy was received by Echorouk, entitled “Stop Bureaucracy and Obstacles”, he said that despite the facilitation that was approved by the Algerian government and the Interior Ministry regarding the replacement of the Algerian driving license for the Algerian community in Spain and Italy, but the embassy services do not want to apply these facilities.
According to the correspondence of the MP, Belmeddah, the members of the community in Italy expressed their satisfaction and thanks them for the facilities that are applied at the embassy, but unfortunately the complaints are still continuing regarding the community residing in Spain.
Belmeddah asserted that when the members of the community contacted the embassy, a person responds to them and replies that there is no news and that the certificate of competence must be received by the embassy through the diplomatic bag.
MP Belmeddah explained: “Mr Ambassador, we call upon your highness to stop these bureaucratic obstacles that do not serve Algerians”.
