Algerian manager Hassini Boulenouar opened fire on the president of the Algerian Football Federation Mohamed Raouraoua in an indirect way. He held him responsible for the departure of French coach Christian Gourcuff who used to train the Algerian team.

Boulenouar presented Gourcuff to Raouraoua to succeed Bosnian coach Vahid Halilhodzic who quitted the Algerian team in July 2014. The French coach started training in Algeria on July 19th before he had resigned on April 3rd.

Boulenouar told a radio channel that Gourcuff accepted to train the Algerian team as he liked an 8-year-project proposed by Raouraoua.

The coach’s manager said Gourcuff quitted because he was under pressure and faced interference in his technical work.

Speaking indirectly about Raouraoua, Belnouar said Gourcuff quitted Algeria because of him.

He gave the example of France coach Didier Deschamps who would what Gourcuff did if the president of the French Federation interferes in his work.
