Security forces foiled a terrorist attack in Blida and Algiers. A total of 17 people were arrested as they would be involved with armed terror groups, Echorouk has learnt on Wednesday.

Security forces had been keeping watch on the suspects. Investigations showed that they provided terrorists with clothes, food and information to help them carry out their plan.

This came as the network’s members were active on social media and Jihadist websites.

The security operation started by arresting a woman after seizing her computers and secret documents in relation with terror organizations.

A total of 13 people were also arrested in Blida and two others in the province of Msila. Tens of computers and some secret documents were seized.

The suspects were introduced to the Prosecutor General at a court in Blida. The Examining judge ordered to put them in temporarily prison.
