Greens Of Algeria Climb To 48th Spot In Latest FIFA Rankings

According to the latest FIFA World Rankings published by the International Football Federation (FIFA) on Thursday July 6th, Algeria has moved upward by winning five places.

Indeed, the Greens of Algeria are now positioned at the 48th spot worldwide. 

At the continental level, the Greens of Algeria have gained two places to find themselves eighth African nation in the overall standings. 

It should be noted that the national squad of Egypt continue to dominate the African football scene along with Senegal (2nd), the Leopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo for their part have climbed 11 places and are now occupying  the third step of the Podium of the best African teams.

At the world level, Germany retrieved the top spot in the global FIFA rankings after snatching the Confederations Cup crown last Sunday, as Brazil dropped to second place, and Argentina froze in the third place, while Portugal and Switzerland rose to the fourth and fifth slots, respectively.
