Leicester City's management doubled the financial sanction against the Algerian international, Riyad Mahrez, for missing out on the "foxes" team for more than a week.

Riyad Mahrez was forced to pay a fine of 240,000 pounds (273,000 euros) after missing the team for 10 days.

Algeria international will not participate in Leicester City and Manchester City, next Saturday evening, as part of the 27th round of the England Championship, Britain's Telegraph newspaper reported on Friday.

This financial penalty equals what Mahrez receives as a salary from the management of Leicester City in two weeks, since the Greens salary is equivalent to £ 120,000 a week.
