Benflis: “I will dissolve parliament and form an efficiency government.. And so we will recover the looted public funds”

Ali Benflis, one of the five the candidates for the upcoming presidential polls, said that the circumstances of the upcoming elections are not ideal, adding that he is a figure who does not deceive, disagree and not register in front of the Algerian people.

Speaking at the Forum for Dialogue, Ali Benflis stated on Wednesday that Algeria could recover what was looted, at home and abroad by activating the Algerian diplomacy to contact the countries concerned, by raising the issue of recovery of these funds.

In return, Benflis pledged to go to legislative elections within one year and dissolve the National People’s Assembly, if he wins the presidential elections scheduled for December 12th 2019.

“The Algerian people ought to be prepared to go to real legislative elections within a year, and then to appoint a government that would open up politics so that we would not return to the domination exerted previously on people, and forming a government of Algerian national competencies,” argued the candidate of the Vanguards of Liberties Party.
