Algerian international player Ismail Bennacer suffered a lot in his childhood, because of his “weak” morphological stature that is not appropriate for the football game he loves to nurture.
Ismail Bennacer said to this effect: “I used to play a lot of football sport during my childhood and primary education. The ball started to accompany me when I was 7 to 8 years old”.
Ismail Bennacer was born in the municipality of Arles, which is located in the south of France, in 1997. He is a player with a physical stature reminiscent of those of his fellow Algerian Mustapha Kouici, the Argentine star Lionel Messi, the Italian Gianfranco Zola, or the Brazilian Juninho Paulica, or the English Wayne Rooney, Frenchman Alain Girrese, or Mexican goalkeeper Jorge Campos.
The Algerian international added in his latest interview with the online TV channel of his Italian team, AC Milan, Italy: “I was thin and short, and I never imagined that I would reach this football success one day, given that the physical structure is an important factor for professional and high-level exercise. I strove to overcome this obstacle, so as to be mentally strong and forge ahead, with a little luck”.
Bennacer contributed a lot last summer in Egypt, to the Algerian national football team winning the African Nations Cup with flying colors, and the “CAF” Confederation awarded him the best player award in this continental football tournament.
It was an amazing success for the player at the start of his career, at the age of 22 years.
On his look at his new team, the giants AC Milan of Italy, Bennacer stated: “When I came with my ex-team of Empoli to face AC Milan at the San Siro stadium, as part of the Italian championship 2018-2019 season, I felt awe and shivered! I saw an audience similar to the one which prevails at the Velodrome stadium in Marseille”!
Much talented midfielder Ismael Bennacer played 13 basic matches, out of 20 matches with his team, “Al-Rossoneri”, as he plays in Italy’s Serie A championship for the current season.
