Bouteflika Signs Five Presidential Decrees

President Abdelaziz Bouteflika signed five presidential decrees, including the ratification of cooperation agreements and a memorandum of understanding that was signed by Algeria with a number of countries, according to Article 91-9 of the Constitution, a presidential statement said Saturday.

The statement added that these decrees relate to the Convention on Judicial Cooperation in the Criminal Field between Algeria and the Russian Federation that was signed in Algeria on October 10, 2017.

The second decree concerned the agreement between Algeria and the Government of the Republic of Mali in the field of animal health, and the third decree concerned the agreement on technical cooperation in the field of water resources between Algeria and the Government of Mali.

The fourth decree includes the agreement on cooperation in the field of geological and mining research between Algeria and the Government of Mali and all of these agreements were signed in Bamako on November 3, 2016.

The President of the Republic also signed the Memorandum of Understanding with the Republic of Namibia on the mutual exemption of visa for holders of diplomatic or mission passports that was signed in Algeria on October 24, 2017.
