Canada Provides 40.000 Immigration Jobs For Algerians Annually

Canada focused its efforts for years on attracting qualified immigrants, especially from Algeria, by issuing each year new laws to encourage them to live on its lands, while contributing to facilitating their resettlement and integration into its society.

The Canadian state recently announced the provision of 40.000 migration opportunities for Algerians for three years, from 2019 to 2021, to meet the needs of workers and experts in various sectors, with the reluctance of Canadians to work in some professions due to their society’s aging.

Previously, Canada announced a new procedure of abolishing the lottery system for foreign parents or grandparents wishing to join their immigrant children in that country.

The lottery system that was applied in the amendment of the family reunification system in 2017 has raised the dissatisfaction of many families whose children or parents are in Canada.

It was abolished with the aim of reform and “making the selection process more transparent” and “helping families to live, work and prosper together in Canada”, as justified by the government of Justin Trudeau.

Canada targets French-speaking immigrants, especially in the countries of Algeria and Morocco, according to the letters of their officials, in order to maintain the demographic balance between the French-speaking population and their English-speaking counterparts.

Canada competes with the rest of the European countries, especially France, in attracting Algerian talent, where there are more than 3,000 Algerian doctors in North America, especially in Canada, which is attracting Algerian doctors in the program of selective migration and attracting talent, competing with France, which is the country that attracts most of the Algerian medical personnel, for several considerations that are related to geography and history.

The Association of Public Health Practitioners in Algeria has counted the presence of more than ten thousand doctors in Europe.
