Corona Virus: “President Tebboune Orders Repatriation Of Algerians From Chinese City Of Wuhan”

The President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on Tuesday instructed government institutions to take the necessary measures for the “immediate repatriation” of members of the national community established in the Chinese city of Wuhan, where the new corona virus appeared, said a press release from the Presidency of the Republic.

“The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune instructed, Tuesday January 28, 2020, the government institutions concerned to take the necessary steps for the immediate repatriation of the 36 members of the national community residing in the Chinese city of Wuhan, mostly students, by putting in place all the preventive measures essential in such a health-related situation “, specified the press release.

This repatriation decision comes in implementation of the commitments of the President of the Republic relating to the protection and support of the national community members settled abroad and to the rapid handling of their concerns, especially in such circumstances”, it added.
