Executive Office Of Football Professional League To Resort To International Court

Members of the Executive Office of the Professional League of Football are insisting on filing their case against the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) to the Swiss International Sports Court in the Lausanne city, Switzerland, after the ALTAS in Algeria has dismissed the decision to withdraw the chairmanship of the professional championship management with its 1st and 2nd from Karbadj

According to a legal source, and immediately after handing over a copy of the verdict to the former members of the league, it will be filed in full file to the headquarters of the International Tribunal, to challenge the ruling of the Algerian court, with the renewal of the request to cancel the decision of the Federal Office that was announced from Setif (eastern Algeria), on January, 2017, by withdrawing the chairmanship from the league and the freezing of the activity of Karbadj and his Executive Office.

According to the same source, Karbadj is still the chairman of the professional association on paper, which supports the decision to withdraw the chairmanship, does not cancel the position of the chairman of the association, but rather his activities, as it will not be possible for Karbadj to run the professional championship.

The lawyer of the association, Mohamed Mani, was informed by phone of the decision of the sports’ court on Tuesday evening by an employee, while he was supposed to know the operative before everyone, as he represents one of the parties to the conflict, as the news spread in the middle of the day through various media, and even Karbadj and his office members watched the news to know about the decision.

In the same context, the former president of CRB club, is the person authorized by law to summon an extraordinary General Assembly of the Association to present the financial and literary achievements of last year during his presidency before resigning, but this seems impossible at the present time because the members of the executive office seek to internationalize the case and to resort to the International Tribunal in Switzerland, hoping it will be fair and take a decision to oblige Zatchi to cancel the decision to withdraw the chairmanship, which will take longer time and the current season will be finished, noting that the governor of accounts at the level of the Association finished preparing the financial report for last year since tow months from now.

For his part, Karbadj refused to go into the subject legally, saying in his interview with Echorouk on Tuesday, that he will not talk again about the regulations that are running the game.
