Ghoulam’s Official Napoli Shirt Signed By The Team To Be Sold At Auction

Algerian international defender Faouzi Ghoulam joined the list of global players in solidarity with Tunisia’s African Club due to the financial crisis with the International Football Association and preventing it from recruitment due to the punishment that is imposed on it, as a result of its debts with several clubs and former players, who complained to FIFA, including the Algerian player Ibrahim Chenihi.

Mosaique FM radio said on Wednesday that Ghoulam responded to an initiative from the African club’s fans in the Italian city of Naples, and the Algerian star became involved in the international campaign to support the African club in order to pay off its debts and to salute its fans who surprised the world with their amazing solidarity and the unprecedented support to the fund of the Tunisian People’s Club disputes.

Ghoulam collected the autographs of the stars of Napoli team on his shirt, which will be sold at auction and the sale will be allocated to the treasury of the African club, knowing that Ghoulam’s shirt will arrive tomorrow in the Tunisian capital, and thus the Algerian defender joined the Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, who also gave his shirt to support this solidarity campaign.

Tunisia’s African club, which was founded in 1920, is passing through a tragic situation as the centenary of its founding approaches, amid a severe debt crisis that was left by its former president, Slim Riahi.

Tunisian federation issued a final warning last October, in which it said that the club faces the risk of sanctions and suspending its participation in all competitions if it will not pay off about $ 6 million of debts, a threat that has been met with an amazing public auction.

It is worth noting that the African Club, who ranked fifth in the Tunisian League this season, was already subjected to the first penalty at the beginning of the season, which included a 6-point discount and a fine for not paying the salaries of players and the wages of the club’s employees, knowing that the Tunisian-African won the African Champions League title in 1991 and it also won the Tunisian League title 13 times, and the Tunisian Cup 13 times as well.
