Italian Ambassador: “We Have A Business Forum With Algeria At The Beginning Of 2021”

Algeria will host an Algerian-Italian business forum to study partnership projects at the beginning of next year, Italian ambassador to Algeria, Pasquale Ferrara, revealed, on Tuesday.

“Partnerships will be in the fields of food industries, renewable energy, small and medium enterprises,”  Ferrara said during a farewell visit to the Industry Minister, after the end of his duties in Algeria.

For his part, Algerian Industry Minister, Ferhat Ait Ali Brahim, mentioned the various measures taken by his ministerial department, and the most important axes included in the new investment law which aimed at boosting foreign investments, especially in sectors with high added value, in terms of production energies and technologies, and job creation.

“Investors can get a clearer view of the legal system, which would ensure stability and transparency in the business climate in Algeria”, he added.

The Italian ambassador, Pasqual Ferrara, and Algerian Industry Minister, Ferhat Ait Ali Brahm, evaluated the reality of bilateral relations and the prospects for cooperation, especially in the industrial sector.

Ferreira also praised the coordinated and thoughtful approach of the Industry Minister which aims to stabilize the business climate in Algeria.
