Late Gaid Salah’s Son Thanks Algerian People For Their Utter Support

One of the sons of the late Deputy national defense Minister, ANP Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Ahmed Gaid Salah, thanked the Algerians for their memorable popular gift after the death of his father and the huge participation of citizens at his funeral.
Adel Gaid Salah told Echorouk News channel, “May Allah God Almighty have mercy on him, and we thank the entire Algerian people for standing with us and the entire Islamic nation, and we thereby invoke Allah God Almighty to endorse their reward.”
On Wednesday, the late Ahmed Gaid Salah was buried during a solemn and popular funeral at the Cemetery of El Alia in the eastern suburbs of Algiers, with the participation of huge crowds of citizens who hailed from all provinces of the country.
Gaid Salah died on Monday morning, at his family home in the capital, following a heart attack at the age of 80 years.
