Libyan National Accord Government Hails Algeria’s Will To Host Dialogue Among Libyan Parties At Issue

The Libyan National Accord Government has extolled the announcement by the President of the Algerian Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, that Algeria is ready to organize a dialogue that brings together the Libyan parties at issue, pointing in this respect to Algeria’s credibility and diplomatic weight, in addition to standing at the same distance between all Libyan conflicting parties, thus insuring the success of this initiative which is meant to create a real political path between the various antagonists in Libya.

“This Algerian initiative has been greatly welcomed, because Algeria is a sister and neighbor country and its commendable initiative aims to bring together the Libyan parties, away from any other negative interference,” said on Tuesday Libyan Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohamed Al-Qablawi in a statement to the first national radio channel.

The Libyan Foreign Ministry spokesman also underlined that “Algeria’s announcement of this stance means a lot to us, especially since Algeria is completely neutral in the conflict within the Libyan state, as announced in many of its positions, stressing that the Algerian move is highly praised by the Libyan unity government”.

He added that “Algeria is a real space for a salutary path for a genuine inter-Libyan reconciliation accord, and this will contribute to stopping the ongoing bloodshed on Libyan territory.
