Mehdi Mustapha Doesn’t Believe In Myths Of French Colonialism

It seems that the former international football player, Mehdi Mustapha, is interested in the history of his country, Algeria, and is not ashamed of his affiliation, even though he was born and raised in a French society that is not related to us.

Mehdi Mustapha re-posted a tweet on the social networking site “Twitter”, in his latest appearance, which includes a French TV documentary, in which the journalist talks about “savage Arabs France came to teach them a civilized way of life !?” Then the line is given to a French historian who denies these colonial allegations and confirms that Algeria was a sophisticated country in 1830, and was inferred by the urban preparation of buildings, roads and markets, the availability of drinking water in homes, education available to all, and other bright pictures of life.

Thus, Mehdi Mustapha wanted in an implicit way to point out that modern European and French colonialism in particular is a barbaric thought that is no less ugly than the terrorism scourge that the world has woefully witnessed since the end of the twentieth century.

For reference, Mehdi Mustapha came to life in France in 1983, from an Algerian father hailing from Relizane, immigrating to this European country, and from a French mother.

The above picture shows Mehdi Mustapha (from the left) with his colleague Madjid Bougherra, during the match between Algeria and Belgium in the World Cup finals in Brazil in the summer of 2014.
