Algeria will not accept anyone touching its borders, the chairman of the National People’s Assembly, Slimane Chenine, said on Tuesday in a speech on the occasion of the voting session on the 2021 finance laws and the anti-kidnapping bill.
“Algeria is going through sensitive circumstances with threats targeting it because it sticks to its firm positions”, he added.
“Algerian people will maintain the sovereignty of the state. Algeria is targeted because it has harmonious institutions”.
Chenine Slimane asserted that the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, will soon return home from his health trip abroad.
Chairman of the National People’s Assembly appreciated the efforts made by the National People’s Army and described the situation in Western Sahara as “dangerous,” explaining that “the recent violations are a breach of the ceasefire agreement”.
