Like Algeria, Zambia and Zimbabwe have programmed friendly matches this October, taking advantage of FIFA’s agenda in this regard.
It is known that the two teams of Zambia and Zimbabwe are competing with Algeria in the African Nations Cup qualifiers, the version of Cameroon 2022 in a group that also includes Botswana.
Zambia will host a friendly against Malawi, and then out of the bases against Kenya, on the 7 and 10 of October, respectively.
Zimbabwe will visit Malawi to play a friendly, on the 11th of October. As for the Botswana team “The Zebras” will conduct training, from this Sunday until the middle of this month, under the supervision of Algerian coach Adel Amrouche because the local football federation was unable to find a friendly competitor.
Zimbabwe will face Algeria’s Desert Warriors twice in November for the third and fourth rounds of the qualifiers.
Zambia will host Djamal Belmadi’s African champions in March 2021, to calculate the fifth and penultimate round of the qualifiers. and the curtain falls with the holding of Algeria and the Botswana visitor in late March of this year.
Prior to that, the Algerian national team has two important dates this month starting with Nigeria on October 9 in Austria, and will later fly to the Netherlands on October 13 to play Mexico.
