Acting chief of staff of the National People’s Army, Major General Said Changriha, now on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has taken part in the 4th edition of the unmanned system exhibition and conference UMEX 2020 and the simulation and training systems SIM TEX 2020 in Abu Dhabi.
Mr. Changriha was received by the Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces with whom he co-chaired a working session in which the two sides examined cooperation prospects and ways to promote them.
The meeting was attended by members of the Algerian delegation accompanying Major General Said Changriha and several senior Emirati officials
Later on, Mr. Chanegriha was received by the UAE vice-president of the council of ministers Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Cheikh Mansour Ben Zayed Al-Nahyane, to whom he presented warm greetings from the Head of State Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebounne.
The meeting was an opportunity to assess the evolution of bilateral cooperation between the two countries’ armies, notably in the military manufacturing field which witnessed a tangible progress, and which constitutes an example of success of cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The Emirati Crown Prince expressed on the occasion his country’s will to shore up cooperation and exchanges with Algeria in all fields of endeavor.
