35 Algerians killed in armed clashes in Syria

A total of 6,113 foreign fighters including 53 Algerians were killed in Syria, Lebanese channel Al-Manar reported citing European and Syrian research centers.

The fighters were identified through their identity cards. Some of them were buried in Syria and others on borders with Turkey. The rest of the bodies were taken to their homelands.

According to Hizbollah TV channel, 17,000 foreign fighters have been reported missing for more than 6 months. Of them, 5,023 are Saudi.

A total of 729 of the killed fighters are from Saudi, 489 from Egypt, 439 from Lebanon, 439 from Chechnya, 301 from Afghanistan, 263 from Libya, 261 from Pakistan, 207 from Iraq, 188 from Russia, 167 from Turkey, 129 from Jordan, 117 from Somalia, 109 from Kuwait, 90 from France, 67 from Germany, 66 from Britain, 50 from Tunisia, 55 from Indonesia, 53 from Algeria, 52 from Yemen, 19 from Qatar, 45 from Belgium, 40 from Uzbekistan, 35 from the US, 31 from Kosovo, 21 from Azerbaijan, 31 from Malta and 7 from Mauritania.
