JSKabylie chairman to quit at the end of the season

The chairman of the football club JSKabylie (JSK) Mohand Cherif Hanachi has paid Sunday a visit to Echouorok newspaper where he followed the first match of the quarter final of the African Cup of Nations, few days after his return from Paris where he was treated for a health problem in the French capital.

The dean of the Algerian football clubs’ managers has hinted to the possibility of quitting his post by the end of the football season for health reasons, noting that the French doctors advised him not to move to the stadium to avoid stress.

 

Hanachi is due to return to France in mid February to complete his treatment which requires two and half months rest in order to fully recover from his health problems, it said.

 

“I will not move to the stadium for the time being and will retreat from the club’s affairs because doctors have advised me to avoid all sources of stress for at least two and half months starting from now” , he declared.

 

He went on saying” I will return to France in mid February for additional treatment and complete the treatment I started earlier”.

 

Hanachi has hinted to the possibility of retiring from the football scene saying” I ‘m really considering the possibility of quitting the club  I served for 50 years as a footballer , manager , president of the football association and at last a president, noting that his age ( 63) has become a handicap”.
