“Daewoo” faces robbery west of Algeria

An armed gang broke into the factory “Daewoo” using a rubber boat in Oran (west of Algeria) Tuesday night, and took over a significant sum of money and computers.

Echorouk sources said that  members of the armed gang were wearing masks and used a rubber  boat that enabled them to break during the night into the factory “Daewoo” adjacent to the Sea in Marsa Hadjadj (east of Oran), they also brought a machine for cutting iron, which enabled them to break the locks of the iron treasury , and took all the money, in addition to two computers.

The robbery raised a lot of questions about the identity of the criminals; who know the all the factory what enabled them to determine the whereabouts of the funds carefully, knowing that this is not the first time in which the the Korean company is subject to theft.

Services of the national gendarmerie launch  intensive investigations to uncover the identity of the robbers, based on the images recorded by surveillance cameras that are installed around the factory.
