“Algeria May Elections, good opportunity for salutary change”, says US Ambassador Henry S Ensher
U.S. Ambassador to Algeria Henry S. Ensher has reiterated U.S. support for the ongoing political reforms and democratic process in Algeria stressing that the May 10th legislative elections are a good opportunity for the Algerian voters to usher in a salutary change at all levels in the North African Nation.
- Algeria has made “encouraging efforts” to implement a genuine democratic process aimed at bolstering stability and ensuring economic development, said Mr. Ensher at a press conference at the US Embassy in Algiers in the wake of the brief working visit paid by US secretary of state Mrs Hillary Clinton to Algeria earlier this week.
