Britain Grants 13 Thousand Visas to Algerian Applicants Per Year, UK Ambassador

UK Ambassador to Algeria, Martyn Roper said on Monday that the Embassy allocates 12000 to 13000 visa entrance to Britain a year.

Mr Roper paid Monday a visit to the province of Tizi Ouzou. He said 20 thousand Algerian nationals are installed in the UK, the majority of which are from the Kabylie region. 

The Ambassador revealed that three British economic missions are to visit Algeria in next January, in bid to discuss investment opportunities in the fields of education, renewable energies, and hydrocarbons.

He further added that his country sent previously seven (7) economy missions to the North African nation, to launch investment projects in different domains, stressing that Algeria remains a key partner to Britain, and that both countries are tending to strengthen their cooperation relations in the upcoming years.

Mr Roper concluded by hailing the existing partnership between the two countries in the domains of military and counterterrorism in the Sahel.
