« I will not be lenient with Algerian’s money manipulators »: Algerian President Bouteflika

At his first ministerial meeting after Ahmed Ouyahia had been appointed as PM, Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika ordered cabinet to use all material and human capacities to bring rigour in conducting Algeria’s resources and face of all kinds of corruption.

• Bouteflika’s order came to justify a series of instructions given by PM Ouyahia to Algerian Justice Minister to reactivate means of fighting corruption.
• President Bouteflika warned that “he will not be lenient when it comes to the necessity of rigour in conducting the State’s resources and means
• The president added that fighting against corruption requires further reforms planned for various governmental sectors.  He called for ensuring rigour in the use of public funds and working hard to free the treasury resources from heavy management of infrastructures.
