Ahmadiyya Facebook Page Is Israeli

Investigations were carried out by the National Gendarmerie Services on the location of the Facebook page of Ahmadiyya sect that is active in Algeria.

Sources of the news website TSA “Tout Sur l’Algérie” (Everything About Algeria), said on Tuesday, that the investigation that was launched by the National Gendarmerie services, led investigators to identify the locations of Ahmadiyya page in Algeria, and they found out that they reside in the occupied Palestinian territories.

These sources added that the cell of fighting against Cyber Crime of the National Gendarmerie, found that the page is labeled “Official Website of the Arab Group”, and is conducted by persons that are present in the occupied Palestinian Territories, specifically in the Palestinian town of Nahariya.

Security services stepped up the campaigns of prosecuting Ahmadiyya followers, within the strict measures that were taken by the government, to face the threat that is posed by the growing population, with the successive discovery of cells that belong to this community in many provinces.

Security reports that were published by the media revealed that the Algerian authorities have recently arrested dozens of supporters of the Ahmadiyya sect in Algiers, Constantine, Relizane and Blida.

According to various media reports, the past five years noticed the arrest of many cells which have the aim to deploy the Ahmadiyya sect in the country, as the Ahmadiyya followers reach more than 1,000 people in Algeria.

Religious Affairs and Endowments Minister, Mohamed Issa, made it clear recently that the scientific councils gathered recently in Al Aghouat and confirmed that the principles that the Ahmadiyya adopt are not Islamic, and are even affecting the religion, as these councils rely on a fatwa that was previously issued by the Supreme Islamic Council, which stipulates that the affiliation to Ahmadiyya is belonging to a “group that is does not belong to Islam”.

He added that this group is followed by the state services which are doing their best efforts to dismantle them.

“Ahmadiyya may be a cover for something else”.

“Religious authority in Algeria is not a party to any dispute. National reference combines all Algerians and wants them to be convicted in the service of society and the nation, and this stems from the Sunnah” – says Issa.

Security services of Chlef province (Western Algeria) seized the Ahmadiyya sect leader, and 11 people who were following him, because of owning a collection of books and publications that belong to the sect, then investigations were to completed against the group on charges of creating a group without legal authorization and prejudice to constant principles of religion, publishing and distribution for the purpose of publicity for a foreign publication that would harm Higher interest of the country.

Chlef state security said the operation came after police services received information about the presence of people who have documents and publications and CDs that include a call to embrace the Ahmadiyya doctrine, adding that the arrested followers are from “Chlef”, “Oum Bouaki”, “Ain Defla” and ” Tlemcen”, including” the Ahmadiyya community leader and his deputy, as well as others from the followers of this sect (aged between 22 and 68 years).

Algerian government formed a committee that is headed by the Interior Minister, Noureddine Badaoui, that is working on the follow-up of the files’ developments since days ago.

This committee is composed of officials from the Ministries of Religious Affairs and the media, interior and defense and security officers to discuss the threats of the growing movements of “Ahmadiyya” sect, which promises a new prophet again as the “Mahdi”, which is considered by the authorities as a violation of the unified religious authority for Algerians, which is embodied in the Maliki doctrine.
