Aissa Mandi Enters The History Of Real Betis

Algerian international Aissa Mandi, Real Betis defender, entered the history of the Andalusian club from the large door and became one of the legends of the club after becoming one of the foreign players who play a lot in the club’s matches, such as the Spanish league and the King’s Cup and the Europa League in which he participated in the last football season.

The list is topped by the Brazilian trio: Denilson with 165 league matches and 207 in all competitions, Marcos dos Santos Assunção with 137 matches in the league and 167 in total, the Nigerian Master Edorisi Ekhosuehi called Edo with 136 games and 159 in total, then Argentine Gabriel Humberto Calderón with 131 matches in the league and 148 in all competitions, then the Nigerian George Finidi with 130 matches In La Liga, 152 in total, the Serbian Risto Vidaković played 120 league matches and 141 in all competitions, followed by Algeria Aissa Mandi, then Croatia’s Robert Jarni with 98 league matches and 119 in total, Spain’s Anzarda with 94 league matches and 159 in all competitions, and finally the Romanian Filippesco has 93 games in La Liga and 137 in all competitions.

The Algerian international is the only foreign player to be included in the list of the 10 most foreign players involved with Real Betis, from the current team of the Andalusian club. He has reached his 100th La Liga match in the penultimate match against the Aibar club and played six games for Betis in this season, waiting for the seventh on Sunday.

Mandy has been at Real Betis since the summer of 2016, joining the Spanish club from the French club Rance for 2.8 million euros.

He is considered one of the most recruited players in the team, as he rarely misses the team’s games in various competitions in which he competes.

The Spanish newspaper confirmed that the Algerian Aissa Mandi developed and has become one of the key players in his team which prompted the management of the club to move in order to block the way on the clubs that are wishing to join him, by negotiating with his agents in order to extend his contract and improve and raise his annual salary, in addition to raising the value of the penalty clause, which currently amounts to 30 million euros.
