Algeria contributed to the entry of the head of the National Unity Government in Libya, Faiz Seradj, to the capital, Tripoli, in light of the refusal of the National Salvation Government, which controlled the Western side in Libya, as Algeria worked with its friends, who are the President of the Movement of the Tunisian Renaissance, Sheikh Rached Ghannouchi, and the head of the National Party, the former president of the military Council in Tripoli, Abdelhakim Belhadj.

Echorouk sources said that at the last visit of the President of the Tunisian Renaissance to Algeria and his prolonged meeting with President Bouteflika, which was devoted in its large part to the situation in Libya, as they agreed that the “Sheikh” will pay mediation with the Libyan parties that refused access of Fiaz Seradj and Presidential Council, which led him to the capital to take over his duties, pursuant to the agreement that is reached among the opponents of the Libyan crisis and the international community, which is represented by the United Nations, in light of the crisis in Libya and the political division in the country, which resulted in the emergence of two conflicting governments, between the National Salvation Government, that is based in Tripoli, and which do not have an international legitimacy, despite its dominance by 75% of the country’s territory, and the interim government in the east of the country, which was given international legitimacy, despite its inability to carry out its powers, to the extent that its President Abdellah al-Thani was prevented by armed groups from leaving his office.

Same source added that Ghannouchi moved his belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood, to secure the entry of Faiz Serradj who already won.

The second trend that was relied upon, was in the person of the President of the National Party, Abdelhakim Belhadj, who is known as one of the most important actors in the political and military scene, as he has a significant impact on the rebels in the capital Tripoli, and even within the Libyan operations, which are in West the country.

Strong relationships relate between Belhadj and Algeria, as he participated in all the talks in Algiers, that is sponsored by the United Nations.
