Commerce Department of the province of Algiers will take new measures in favor of economic operators who want to get a license for sales and special offers.
Dahar Layachi said the commerce ministry launched a model operation at the provincial department in Algiers to digitalize requests to display sales and special offers. This is part of facilitating administrative procedures stipulated in the law.
Layachi was quoted by Algeria News Agency (APS), saying the operation of displaying sales and special offers was limited in summer in Algiers as a first step. Special offers continued during the year provided that economic operators determine a period for his special offers.
The digitalization of those measures does not ban the request for obtaining a license via administrative procedures. This would enable economic operators to choose between current administrative procedures or applying online, says Dahar.
Operators who want to display special offers for winter and during the year should fill up an application form and an annexed table. They also should stick a sign on their shop facade. It is posted on the commerce ministry’s website www.commerce.gov.dz.
Operators also should submit an application for the license to the Commerce Department of the province of Algiers via the following address: email@example.com.
To avoid any misunderstanding, the Commerce Department can, if necessary, ask for any document to check the conformity of required documents with submitted information. Applicants will get an online notice sent by the Commerce Department.
Dahar also said traders and economic operators should check the new procedure and can upload required forms from the Department’s website or call its number for more information.
