Algerian Education Minister Promises Punishments For Shirkers

The Algerian minister of education, Abu Bakr Ben Bouzid ordered the attendance officers to strictly control the teachers’ attendances in order to finish the academic year’s program, notably the baccalaureate class.

This decision was taken following reports stating that a large number of teachers are attending their classes regularly n, putting, thus at stake the future of thousands of students.

The ministry of education promised sanctions against reluctant teachers, especially that this institution has provided all the means to facilitate the task for the students and enable them to finish the program on due time.
