Ansar Eddine’s leader and five extremist commanders take refuge in Morocco
Ansar Eddine’s leader, its spokesman and four senior members of extremist organizations in northern Mali went to Morocco where they are living in safe places away from lights until the end of the war, according to local sources.
Relation between Morocco, Tawhid and Jihad organization and Ansar Eddine is good as Tawhid and Jihad focuses its terror acts on Algeria through the kidnapping of Europeans and Algerian diplomats and suicide attacks, the same sources told Echorouk.
This comes as Morocco failed in convincing Algerian Tuarges to hold a meeting last Spring.
Morocco asked the refugees to abandon Abu Zeid and Belmokhtar as they are Algerians working for Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb led by Droukdel alias Musaab Abdelouadoud. Because of that, it was easy to Chadian forces to kill them in their military operations in mountainous areas.
