Controversy about Absence of Riyad Mahrez in Picture of Leicester City’s New Jersey

Leicester City’s Management on Thursday skipped Algerian star, Riyad Mahrez, while showing the picture of the Foxes’ New Jersey.

Leicester City picked up five team players to showcase the new jersey for the Foxes, surprisingly excluding striker Riyad Mahrez.

As a matter of fact, Mahrez is one of the key tactics of team Coach Craig Shakespeare, and is widely popular with the supporters of Leicester City. 

The striking absence of the English Premiership best player of the 2015-2016 football season is a mystery.

Meanwhile, the talented 26-year-old Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez has made open his desire to leave the King Power Stadium but the English club side of Leicester City will not sell him on the cheap.

The “Foxes” Manager Craig Shakespeare has confirmed that Leicester City has rejected AS Roma offer for Riyad Mahrez 

The Algeria international who was influential in the Foxes’ English Premier League triumph two seasons ago had stated his desire to leave the King Power Stadium, but the Leicester club will not beat down their asking price, estimated at 56 million Euros.

According to the club’s manager during a press-conference, Leicester City turned down the Italian’s offer because they did not meet the buy-out fee in order to be able to recruit Riyad Mahrez this summer.
