The European Union said it hopes that Algeria and Egypt support the UN endeavors to find a final solution to end fighting in Libya.

James Moran, the head of the EU delegation to Egypt said the best solution is to support the efforts of the UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon to resolve the Libyan crisis. The situation there is difficult and complicated.

Moran believes that the Libyan crisis has an impact on the situation in the European Union due to illegal immigrants’ flow to flee the war.

According to observers, the European Union hopes that Algeria uses its stable relations with ruling Libyan forces in the capital to deal positively with the UN initiative.

The European Union asked Egypt to stop sending soldiers to fight in Libya while Cairo denied that.
