Governors to help education directors run smooth elections

The education Ministry sent correspondence to governors of all the country’s provinces requesting them to do their utmost and overcome all obstacles to provinces’ Education’s directors in order to facilitate a smooth run of the upcoming Education Social Committees due to take place next December 07th 2011.

The same sources told Echorouk that the Education Ministry viewed the support of governors to its education directors in the different provinces as a guarantee for the election to be run with the best conditions given that governors will act on the only organizational level letting workers and candidates playing their natural roles in this race.

The election process came after a major conflict erupted between two main union factions representing workers with one pushing for a centralized management of the committees’ funds nd another faction pushing for a localized management of the funds.
