Consumer Protection Association called upon Environment, Tourism and Justice Ministries, and Environment Protection Organizations to put an end to the crimes against livestock in the Algerian Sahara which Gulf Nationals targeted through indiscriminate hunting, which affects endangered animals.

CPA said, in its statement, deer blood lovers, as they call themselves, went out on fishing trips which lasted from 7 to 8 days away from urban areas, targeting places where abundant prey, and despite the UAE has established an integrated center for the reproduction of squid birds, southwest Bayadh city (southern Algeria), which is supervised by British specialists. However, some members of the Gulf missions come to Algeria under the pretext of the conclusion of economic deals or for the purpose of investment and tourism, and do not hesitate to kill this endangered bird, for entertainment and brag in front of cameras, in addition to other goals that are related to their own lives.
Consumer Protection Association added in a statement that it called upon Algerian authorities to stop these deer and birds hunters, who shot deer in their gathering places without distinction between pregnant or breastfeeding deer, or even female deer which embraces its little baby, despite the fact that Islam law forbids hunting pregnant and nursing deer.
CPA wondered whether this hunting is legal and licensed, and gave them the right to tamper with Algerian animals’ wealth.
