Half A Million Algerians Have Visited Tunisia Since The Start Of 2016!

For this summer season looming on the horizon, the Tunisian authorities have decided to grant promotional prices to Algerian tourists who want to spend their holidays in Tunisia.

In fact, the number of Algerians who have already visited Tunisia from 1 January to 10 June of the current year amounted to 451,000 tourists, an increase of 2.8% compared with the previous year.

The representative of the National Tourism Office in Algeria, Bassam Ouertani, told “Echorouk” that the results of the past year were quite positive, with almost a million and a half million Algerian tourists having visited Tunisia.

Moreover, the Tunisian authorities, he noted, will grant more facilitations for Algerians, both at the border posts for police and customs formalities as well as regarding enticing prices in hotels, better than those offered to Europeans, while ensuring their safety throughout their stay in Tunisia.
