Hard Currency Account to Collect Algerian Immigrants’ Donations To Covid 19 Fund

The ongoing solidarity endeavor is now shifting to the Algerian community members residing abroad, where parliamentarians and ambassadors suggested opening bank accounts in hard currency to collect donations from immigrants in the Corona Fund.

Parliamentary representative for the fourth region, Noureddine Belmeddah, called to this effect, on the members of the Algerian community settled abroad to contribute to supporting the Algerian state’s effort to fight the Corona virus epidemic, by sending their financial aid directly to bank accounts in various monetary currencies, stressing that this popular gift from the members of the Algerian community residing overseas will shore up the National Solidarity Fund, which the Algerian state will resort to – just – to purchase the necessary medical needs to face up to the Covid 19 epidemic in a swift and guaranteed process.

According to the same parliamentarian, the members of the Algerian community settled abroad have already launched an initiative to support Algerian hospitals with up to date medical means and equipment, with the help of a group of Algerians who specialize in this field and have import and export companies in America, Canada, Germany and Spain, stressing that those behind this laudable initiative reverted to this new procedure – according to him – after watching the poor quality of the imported medical equipment and the fraud they were subjected to after purchasing unreliable screening devices.
