Terrorist elements who claimed that they are affiliated to Jund Al-Khilafa which showed allegiance to ISIS threatened a family living in Baraki, eastern Algiers.

The terrorists warned to kill the family and kidnap their children if they do not pay a huge sum.

“We swear to God, we will crash you, enemy of Allah. Killing you is the easiest thing we can do. We can do it in many ways,” said a letter sent by the terrorists to the family.

“We are watching you everywhere. We also can send a suicide bomber to you. We have men who love death. If we learnt that you would give back the due money, we would have leave you in peace,” it added.

Zouhir, the youngest brother in the family told Echorouk the terrorist group threatened all the family’s members to kill them. “We will ask your family for money. If they do not give that money, we will kill them one by one. It will be a good lesson for you and many others like you in Baraki,” said another letter.

The terrorists asked the family to pay 20 billion centimes.

The letters also included threats to kill other people living in the same municipality.

One of the letter contains many detailed information about the victims’ life. It says one of the family’s members “deals with some public administrations and ministries in the field of office and school tools.”

The terrorists also know that there are cameras inside the family’s houses in Baraki and in some other properties.

Baraki has been in a stable security state for years. During the black decade, it represented a stronghold for terrorists including the Islamic Armed Group (GIA). Yet, some young people have recently joined terrorist organizations abroad including Nosra Front and ISIS. Some of them were arrested before they had joined the terrorist organizations. Some others were killed in Iraq and Syria.
