Italian Embassy Announces New Procedures Of Granting Visas For Algerians

The Italian Embassy in Algeria announced that the withdrawal of passports that were deposited by Algerian citizens to obtain a visa is possible as of May 17, according to several procedures, which indicate that things are returning to normal.

According to a statement by the Italian embassy, published on its official website, as of May 17, 2020, Algerians can retrieve their passports through addresses of their choice via the Express Mail Service of Algeria Post (EMS), explaining that the concerned person must verify on the “TLS Contact” website if the passport is ready for reception at the level of one of the” TLS “centres.

After verifying the readiness of the passport, the statement explains, the person concerned must apply to one of the Algeria post offices and pay for the delivery service for DZD 1200 on the current postal account number of TLS Contact, which is: 007 999 990 021 004 139 56.

“The person concerned shall send the receipt of payment of the delivery rights via e-mail to the company “TLS”, which is contact.courrier@tlscontact.com, showing the reference number of the visa file, the name and surname of the person concerned, the date of birth and the full address in which the passport will be received”, the statement confirmed that all these information is necessary to send the concerned person’s passport.

“During this period (quarantine), the express mail delivery service covers all regions of the country, except for the provinces of Blida, Bechar, Illizi, Adrar and Tamanrasset”, the statement concluded.
