Le Pen’s Granddaughter wants to “cleanse” France of Algerian harraga or illegal migrants
The elected representatives to Parliament of the French National Front (FN) have urged the French Interior Ministry to declare Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia as safe countries.
As matter of fact, with this request, they hope to end the political asylum-seeking applications from nationals of these three Maghrebian countries and speed up the procedures for their deportations back home.
This is MP, Marion Marechal-Le Pen, granddaughter of Jean-Marie Le Pen, the historic leader of the FN, who is behind this request forwarded to French Interior Minister, Bernard Cazeneuve, to be in tune with the immigration policy pursued by Germany and Austria which have recently made a change in their lists of safe countries by including these three Maghrebian countries.
The roster of safe countries is an effective tool to scale down migration flows of harraga or illegal migrants by turning their regularization bid as political refugees null and void under the law of 2003, if these countries are officially declared safe.
