Algeria is in charge of convincing Libyan protagonists to accept the formation of a national consensual government to run the Libyan State’s affairs. UN envoy for Libya Bernardino Leon offered a final platform to solve the crisis.
As part of its endeavors to settle the Libyan crisis, Algeria hosts the third ministerial meeting with Egypt and Italy. It will be represented by Maghrebin and African affairs minister Abdelkader Messahel.
The meeting will focus on the necessity of reaching a quick consensus about the formation of a national unity government.
Earlier, the UN envoy told journalists he would not quit until a final accord is reached in Libya.
